I am so proud of myself for setting up this blog. And although no one either knows about it or has read it, I was able to re-enter, edit and now add to it! I think it is time to share its existence with others...and I hope it will be enjoyed by someone...
I am in the throes of preparation for the trip. Technology is challenging but exciting. I can't believe all the ways I hope to be able to communicate while we are gone. I hope to have internet access while at the hospital and learn how to upload pictures to this blog next time.

Preparing for our trip...
One of the things I'm thinking about before heading out for this adventure is how to share with everyone back home all the things I will experience. So, I'm testing out this blog site (all on my own) to see if this is the way to go. I'm trying to get up to speed with technology. I know not everyone can sit down with me at a table and look at the picture album I hope to put together. So...read on.
